Aged Care Quality Standard 6 focuses on the need for an organisation to have a complaints resolutions system in place that is confidential, accessible, fair and timely for all consumers.
The resolution process should lead to outcomes that benefit the consumer and improve the relationship between the consumer and the organisation. Consumers should be encouraged to provide both positive and negative feedback and be responded to in formal and informal means. The goal of this course is to teach learners what is expected of the organisation’s service environment with the introduction of Standard 6: that consumers feel safe, and they are encouraged and supported to give feedback and make complaints.
These courses are essential in today’s aged care sector, where quality and compliance are not just about meeting statutory requirements but are integral to delivering care that is respectful, person-centered, and safe.
Whether you are an individual seeking to enhance your professional capabilities or an organisation striving to uphold the highest standards of care, our Standard 6: Feedback & Complaints courses equip you with the knowledge and tools to excel.
Embrace this opportunity to not just meet, but exceed the expectations set forth by these standards, thereby playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of aged care in Australia.
Some of these courses are officially endorsed by the APNA, meeting all the required quality standards criteria. Eligible participants who complete the educational activities within this course are entitled to claim points towards their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
