At Training Unlimited, we're committed to delivering industry-relevant and highly practical training, backed by over 20 years of experience. Our team of trainers are industry specialists, blending years of hands-on experience with a solid theoretical foundation.
Hi my name is Michelle. I am the State Manager for Training Unlimited here in WA as well as an Early Childhood Education and Care Training Specialist. I started my journey in the sector over 20 years ago, the best part of my job is being able to inspire educators to be positive role models for children and watching their confidence grow throughout their own individual learning journeys. I also really enjoy visiting services and spending time on the floor with the students children. One of my favourite quotes is "To teach is to touch a life forever" something Educators do each and everyday. I also have 3 children 15, 13 & 7 who are my absolute world.
I have over 10 years experience in the Health Care Sector. My Journey started me in Aged Care Facilities, and after approximately 2 years I branched out and gained experience in Disability Services and Community Care through a Health Care Agency. I became a Trainer and Assessor in 2015 and have worked for a few RTO's experiencing the different methods of delivery and assessment before joining Training Unlimited in 2021. My role has grown from Classroom delivery to Traineeships and then into management and oversight of the Aged and Disability Training Programs. I love working with the students in the sector and seeing the vast amount of opportunities and experiences that Health Care has to offer and I love it when students are excited to share their stories and experiences with me when I visit them.
At just 16 years of age, I embarked on a remarkable journey of compassionate care and support, working across Ireland and Australia. With a specialisation in the role of being a senior care assistant, a strong first hand and industry based disability knowledge, a Certificate IV in Dementia Care, my dedication to making a positive impact has driven my career. I have proudly spent one year with Training Unlimited, honing my skills and knowledge. What fuels my passion is the desire to help and support individuals, especially students, as I find immense joy in working along side them to achieve their goals. I am dedicated to persisting in my mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require support and to contribute to the betterment of our community through the training and support I give to my students.
Workplace training offers a real-world experience, allowing learners to apply theoretical knowledge in actual job settings. Unlike traditional classroom training, it provides immediate context, fostering a deeper understanding and honing skills in a practical environment.
